I would strongly advise anyone considering this property to look elsewhere. It was an utter disappointment from the moment we stepped inside. First and foremost, despite being advertised as a non-smoking property, the entire house reeked of cigarettes. It was evident that smoking had occurred inside, and to make matters worse, the garden was filled with cigarette butts. The management of this property was nothing short of appalling. They barely communicated with us throughout our stay, and any attempts to address the numerous issues we encountered were met with indifference or ignored entirely. None of our concerns were resolved, making for a highly frustrating and unsatisfactory stay. One of the most essential amenities we expected was a working WiFi connection. However, despite being sent log in details, the WiFi was non-functional during our stay, rendering the smart features of the TV useless. I messaged the number provided but I didn't even receive a reply. Nothing. In fact, to rub salt in the wound I received automated messages from booking.com asking us to contact the number provided to report any issues. But a human never bothered to respond. To add to the list of horrors, a strange man showed up at the property, demanding money. This raised serious security concerns and left us feeling unsafe and unsettled throughout our stay. The oven tray didn't fit the oven properly, which meant we were unable to cook. Additionally, one of the sofas had no legs, meaning we were essentially sitting on the floor, and the other sofa felt unstable, as if it could break at any moment. There was a lack of basic amenities. There were no hand towels in the bathroom, leaving us without a simple means of drying our hands. Moreover, for a property advertised to accommodate six people, there were only five plates provided, forcing us to take turns eating our meals. Save yourself the trouble and avoid this place at all costs.
