Ann and Marj were superb hosts and could not have done enough for me. I felt very welcome and very at home.

Exceptional hosts, made us very welcome and they had a cancellation on the big room so we got to move in there Only a very short drive or walk down to askernish golf club Need a car really to get round much of the island but the accommodation is nice and close to the ferry

We liked everything. Great, amazingly welcoming hosts. Nice sized room with a very comfortable bed. Good choice of breakfast items with delicious fruit salad, fresh scones and croissants, though nothing cooked (not a problem at all). Location is very good too with easy access to lots of the best sightseeing on South Uist, Eriskay and Benbecula.

Everything about this B&B was excellent! The rooms were very clean comfortable and warm The rooms had been thoughtfully furnished and equipped The breakfasts were varied , fresh and plentiful- homemade scones! Ann& Madge were delightful welcoming hosts

On arrival the hosts gave a warm and friendly greeting and were extremely helpful throughout our 6 night stay. They were both able to impart a great deal of local knowledge and information to assist us in organising our schedule. The house and room were of a very high standard with modern decor and facilities. The breakfast provided was comprehensive and would cater for pretty much any preferences. Ann and Madge were lovely people and we welcomed the opportunity to have a chat with them whenever the occasion arose. The location was picturesque and a massive beach was a short walk away overlooking the Atlantic ocean. Parking for our car was fine and there was Wi Fi so we could keep in touch with family, friends and work issues whilst away. There was a fish and Chip Shop, hotel and local Co op in the village which was well stocked. As keen walkers there were plenty of lovely scenic walks in the vicinity and by car we could explore other interesting sites around the islands. We thoroughly enjoyed our time in South Uist & visiting the neighbouring islands which was enhanced by the hosts accommodating and warm personalities.

There was absolutely nothing to fault. The only shame was having to leave and return to the South East rat race as compared to the tranquility of South Uist.

Great hosts. We stayed for a week whilst attending the local Ceolas Gaelic and Music week and were very well looked after by our hosts Anna and Madge. Moran taing :)
