House of Chariot - Near Piazza Maggiore

The apartment address is very good for Bologna. The AC units worked well, but the negatives outweigh the positives. Beware.

The one most critical problem was that the walls are infested with animals, which sounded like rats, running around night and day, scratching the internal walls and ceilings. The animals were loud and made squeaking noises night and day. It was impossible to sleep and we were disturbed. It sounded like the animals would drop through the ceiling. I contacted the host and she said to “ignore the animals,” which I tried to do. It was impossible to do so. We stayed two nights and on night two, I contacted the owner again and was ignored, no response. Also, the apartment is located on the top floor, and not easily accessible either unless you’re fully able bodied and can ascend and descend multiple steep flights of stairs.

The check in was easy. Great help from staff . Always on hand to assist with any queries. Much appreciated. Location was brilliant. Close to all the main attractions . Lovely authentic local experience. Lots of restaurants and cafes nearby. A supermarket around the corner. The apartment was very spacious and stylish. Lovely to each have a room when two people are travelling as friends . Air conditioner was great and fans are also at hand.

Only small thing is one has to walk up a few flight of stairs with baggage which is only a problem on a sweltering hot day.. but not an issue really.

Temperatura interna. I telecomandi dei termoconvettori avevano le batterie scariche e non è stato possibile accendere il riscaldamento.

Spurte om mulighet for tidligere innsjekk, men fikk ikke svar. Det var tomt for toalettpapir.

Asukoht vanalinnas, kõik vaatamisväärtused jalutuskäigu kaugusel. Kohvikud, restoranid, poetänav- kõik lähedal. Korteril väike katuseterass, väga hoolitsev ja abivalmis pererahvas

Vanaaegne maja on ilma liftita, kui elate ülemisel korrusel, siis on raske kohvreid üles viia.
