Downtown Retreat - 2BR Oasis

It was interesting to be in this older neighborhood in this apartment. We had no problem with street parking. The instructions for entry were good.

To make this a 10, I would suggest the following: the hand soap container in the bathroom was completely empty. The shampoo was at the bottom. The black towels had a very long strand of hair, and they shed black threads when you dry off. The beds were thin and lumpy. The carpet on the entry floor is badly stained and needs to be replaced. The cleanliness was mostly good, but some of the flooring had dust balls that remained.

Clean, spacious, nicely renovated unit. Plenty of room. Ample street parking.

The setup was wonderful. The place was beautiful and in the perfect location for my business needs.

I emailed staff upon arrival stating I was there on business and would be working the night shift, and assumed with the facilities noise level policy stated numerous times in the agreement this would be a prime choice, however they had a truck loaded full of people drilling, hammering, singing along with the blaring radio direct under the bedroom I was trying to sleep in during my ENTIRE stay. I would have chosen a different location this time but wouldn't mind staying again if whatever they were fixing is fixed!

Great space for a reasonable price in a quiet neighborhood close to the highway.

The rooms were very spacious and tons of natural light.

From the entry throughout the rental unit was dirty and dusty. Recent construction created a ton of dust. There were no extra blankets as the rental was freezing upon arrrival and windows were missing storm and screens and left open. Limited to no equipment to use in the kitchen and no cleaning supplies like vacuum to allow us to clean up. And limited towels good thing we only took one shower each while there!

The place was clean(spotless!), extremely large, and comfortable. A previous person mentioned that they had trouble with temperature in apartment - we had no problems at all. The thermostat was very reactive. The communication was prompt. The neighborhood seemed safe. Plenty of street parking. It is on the second floor so there are stairs. That isn’t very clear in the description. There is a nice balcony seating included that would be great in warmer months. The value was also amazing. For size of place it was totally worth it!
