Downtown Retreat - 2BR Oasis

The size was good.

Freezing cold heat was on 90 an still was freezing. I had to purchase a space heater and I still couldn’t get warm. The windows are very old and felt like they were wide open.

Very nice apartment. It was clean and pretty large.

Trying to get into the garage. We paid to use it but our vehicle was just too big to manuver the alley, so we ended up parking on the street.

The property was really clean and decorated very beautifully.

It was really hard to enter the apartment even with the code and ultimately ended up locked out several times. It was so bad that I had to contact the property owner for them not to answer until I contacted booking.com and there was no urgency on the situation. They sent their cleaner to fix the door and thankfully she was able to get us in but she did mention that there has been problems with the door all day and made me have safety concerns for the door as it has been an issue for some time but I was never notified of the situation nor about switching the lock on the door.

It was very clean and well maintained. Parking right outside the building on street has no issues getting in with the codes provide for doors.

The apartment was beautiful, clean and quiet. It gets a fabulous amount of sun in the mornings.

While there are some basic kitchen needs, we wanted to make a big breakfast Sunday morning. Unfortunately this required a 6 am run to Walmart to get frying pans and a spatula to be able to cook eggs and sausage. I left the frying pans and spatula in the apartment so the next person wouldn't run into the same issue.

Beautiful roomy apartment. Nicely furnished. Would stay again.

We did not realize the apartment was on the second floor. But we managed to navigate up and all was well.
