Villa Mari Posa - hideaway near Nunggalan Beach

We had a lovely stay at this beautiful, clean, and well-equipped villa. It was easy to find and access, and we felt comfortable from the moment we arrived. Since this is Bali, it's worth noting that you may occasionally come across a few small insects, which is quite normal and something travelers should generally expect. The host was incredibly friendly, helpful, and welcoming throughout our stay. He was always available when needed and even kindly picked us up from the airport, which we really appreciated.

There were a few things that future guests may want to be aware of. The pool had been cleaned, but leaves and other debris tended to accumulate quickly, so we didn't use it as much as we had hoped. There is also an event venue nearby, and on the weekend there was a celebration, likely a wedding, with very loud music and bass that continued into the evening. In addition, some dogs in the area barked and howled during the night. That said, we genuinely enjoyed our stay and had a great time overall. The villa itself is wonderful, and most of the issues mentioned are outside of the host's control. We would happily recommend it to guests who don't mind a bit of local neighborhood activity and are looking for a comfortable place to stay with an exceptionally kind host.

We had a fantastic stay at Villa Mari Posa! The staff is super friendly, and the entire property was very clean. The pool and outdoor area are beautifully designed, and the cool outdoor shower/toilet was very usefull. The indoor amenities are just as great: the beds are extremely comfortable and the kitchen is well-equipped with everything you need. A huge plus is the location – the gorgeous Nunggalan Beach is within easy walking distance. On top of that, the villa offers great value for money during the low season.

Light sleepers might find it a bit noisy, as there is some dog barking in the neighborhood and a wedding venue nearby on weekends. Also, there was a slightly unpleasant smell in the living room, but it disappears completely once you turn on the air conditioning.

Villa is really nice, equipped with everything you might need. Really lovely outdoor shower, clean pool, big comfortable beds. Manager Komang was extremely helpful and helped us to arrange a taxi and to rent a bike.

Bed linen in one of the rooms was not very clean, but it was changed after I asked. Mosquitoes nets in bedrooms definitely need to be replaced with the new ones.

A quiet relaxing place

The Villa was really huge especially since we were only 3. The place was more than enough for us to move around freely. We we're really in awe once we entered since we didn't expect how big it was. Having our own pool was a plus side. All areas were clean and the beds were super comfy! They have complete kitchen and dining stuff if you're planning to cook and they gave us drinking water. The air conditioners are really strong and can easily make the room cold but there were no fan or aircon at the dining, kitchen and living room area but it's still okay.

What we didn't like is that in the morning during our 1st day, we lost power at the villa which also caused the water to go out since the water pump was powered by electricity. The staff didn't even try to drop by the villa to check in on us and took a really long time to respond to my messages and calls in whatsapp. We also lost our wifi connection during our whole stay!! And was advised that the internet company would drop by the next day which will render us useless since we are already leaving early the next day. The key got stuck on the front door which made us leave the villa unlocked but it was okay since the area was safe. I think if we didn't experience those above, I would have appreciated the place more.

Het was echt een hele mooie villa en de locatie was ook prettig. Op korte afstand van mooie stranden. Via Komang konden we ook een scooter huren dat was erg handig en vlot geregeld
