Excellent location in the Peak District to get to other places of interest. Very clean and well equipped property and a friendly, informative host. Dedicated parking space by the back entrance was super handy in an old village like this. Lovely walks in and around the village. Handy and well stocked Co-Op across the road.

The church bells start very early and finish very late. The road noise can also be loud (all depending on what you're used to, of course). Just bring some ear plugs if you're a light sleeper.0

Great location, very close to public footpaths, shops & pubs

Poor noise insulation in the master bedroom so noisy when cars & trucks went by.

"Convenient but 4 sleepless nights"

Useful location for family reunion

Far too noisy at night as traffic passing immediately below bedroom window all night, revving as by traffic lights. Room very hot (it wasn’t the heatwave) and duvet far too thick for summer use.
