Nothing that the host can do anything about - the road was very busy and thus noisy. Still slept well though

Great location for exploring the Peak District, very cosy interior with good equipment in kitchen

Guests staying in rooms to front of house we were kept awake by lorries driving past, didn't bother myself as had ear plugs but awoke other guests.

"Comfortable cottage which was an ideal base to enjoy the Peak District"

Excellent location if you enjoy walking, the cottage providing comfortable accommodation in the centre of the village and was convenient for local shops, buses and pub. The owner was friendly and allowed us to check in early.

"Lovely cottage in great location"

Great house in great location. Comfortable even with 6 adults. 10 mins drive to Castleton or by bus. Very helpful property owner with lots of info provided. Cosy wood burner. Lovely village location with pubs nearby.
