The Old Mill Bed & Breakfast

The Old Mill is set back in a nice secluded area, the drive to the actual building sets you up for your stay as there is a ford that you can drive through. The property itself has a lot of history as the name suggests.

It's not closer to Home.

Der Trittschall aus dem Stock über uns war sehr laut, lässt sich vermutlich in dem wunderschön renovierten alten Haus nicht vermeiden.

The breakfast was fantastic, being able to choose what you wanted and at what time suited was great. When breakfast arrived it was hot, freshly cooked and exactly what you had ordered. All the other touches of croissants and various cereals was an added bonus. The room was exceptional and so clean you couldn't have asked for better. I have staid in bed and breakfast places all over the country and this one rates as one of the very best. There was also free wi fi available.

Room was immaculate, had everything we needed and bed was very comfy! Loads of space and a lovely bathroom with hot shower. Host was really lovely and breakfast was super tasty with lots of options. Gorgeous place with lots of character in a lovely quiet setting only a few minutes walk from shops and pubs. Would definitely stay again!!

Beautiful restored mill with unique features and a fascinating story of rebuilding and refurbishment. Gillian was the perfect host, very amenable and helpful. Would highly recommend to anyone who is looking for a perfect B&B in Biggar. We will definitely be returning next time we are heading around that area.
