The Old Mill Bed & Breakfast

Peaceful location. Lovely big room, super clean, great shower, lots of tea/coffee/biscuits 😄 Breakfast was also fantastic with so much on offer. The owners were so welcoming and friendly (and their gorgeous wee dog Tara)

The property was lovely and clean. The breakfast was delicious. The hosts were very friendly and informative about everything. I had been in contact with them a few days prior to arrival as we were going to a wedding at Cornhill Castle and they gave me the information I needed.

Hübsches Zimmer, toll eingerichtet und sehr sauber. Superfreundliche und hilfsbereite Gastgeber. Frisch zubereitetes und gut schmeckendes Frühstück im schönen Frühstücksraum mit vielen Infos zur Geschichte und Renovierung der alten Mühle. Parkplatz vor Ort. Schöne Umgebung.

Wirklich nur ein paar Kleinigkeiten: einige Handtücher waren zu weich, haben nicht richtig abgetrocknet. Vielleicht noch ein Licht über den Spiegel im Badezimmer?

Breakfast was excellent. Gillian was the perfect host and the accommodation was also exceptional. The Mill conversion has been done to impeccable standards but when you get to know the owners you realise why!!!

Really there is nothing we would criticise. Perhaps the driveway is a little bumpy as you approach but that’s about all we can think of!

Everything! Beautifully restored, large room with really comfortable bed and an amazing shower. Beautifully decorated and furnished well. The attention to the little details were superb in relation to the room and our stay. Lovely welcome from the owners would recommend to anyone going to Biggar to stay! 10/10 from us!

Not that we didn’t like it just not used to the amount of light in room in morning. It didn’t put us off and loved the quirky windows.
