The Bay Tree Bed & Breakfast

Beautiful, huge room with plenty of space for a family and very comfortable beds. Fantastic bathroom, all spotlessly clean. Homemade cake on arrival, plenty of choice of drink and snacks and complementary water in fridge. Breakfast was fantastic and we loved watching the birds while eating. A perfect spot to stay for visiting Alton Towers and lovely to retreat to at the end of a full day. Anita is a wonderful host!

Alojamiento excepcional. Anita y Mick nos hicieron sentir mejor que en casa. Son ambos encantadores. La atención fue increíble. El desayuno era espectacular. Anita es una gran cocinera y hacen un equipo perfecto. La habitación era amplia, muy cómoda y tenía de todo lo que puedas necesitar. Además, el jardín es precioso, la zona también y con parking en la casa. Estamos deseando poder volver algún día.

Lovely big room to accommodate an adult and teenagers, fridge in room especially when it was so warm, clean, friendly welcome, excellent breakfast. Dining space could be used for takeaways. Close to Alton for food and Alton towers for fun! Car park was handy too.

Everything was thought of. There was every possible facility you could possibly need for a comfortable stay. All amenities were top notch and everything was immaculately maintained.

What a beautiful place & location. Hosts Anita & Mick are top class, you couldn’t ask for more. The accommodation is beautiful & so many nice touches. Fresh milk in the room for tea & coffee, if you’ve forgotten anything, they have it. Cakes waiting for you at the end of your day. Fabulous food, lots of options, felt really spoilt.

The hosts are incredible

Excellent place to stay we were made very welcome from start to finish. There are 3 en-suite rooms ,lounge & dining area which was available to use for the guests separate from the living quarters of the hosts. Everywhere was spotless ,the use of the lounge & tea/coffee making area were a bonus much nicer not to sit in your room the whole time. The addition of afternoon tea each day was very special and the breakfasts were amazing.

Our stay couldn’t have been better! The host’s attention and care were exceptional! We ended up losing one night due to a car rental issue, and she was genuinely concerned about our extra night in London. She even baked welcome cupcakes and set up a lovely buffet with teas and other drinks. The room and bathroom were very spacious and comfortable. Everything was spotless, and the breakfast she prepared was the best meal of our entire trip! I 100% recommend staying here!

The hosts were absolutely lovely, nothing was too much trouble and they fulfilled all my special requests. The bedroom was clean and well-stocked with all the essentials. Breakfast was also delicious, with a wide range of options including both hot & continental. The location is also ideal, only a 5 minute drive from Alton Towers.
