Ian was a fantastic host and very helpful with the local area. The dish he recommended at the nearby chippy was excellent as well.

Ian & Lynn were outstanding hosts, breakfast was amazing, and very chilled environment

Loved the gated private parking and the privacy of the place. The room was spotlessly clean, the shower was great and the location was very convenient. The bedding was clean and crisp and smelled lovely.

The bed could be more comfortable.

Easy to find, room clean and comfortable, Ian the host was very welcoming, flexible breakfast times (help yourself) which is great for me as I normally miss out as I have to leave early in the mornings. Secure parking, roomy enough for my van. Close to the airport so you do hear planes, but they stop at night so to me that wasn't an issue, and to be fair should be expected if you do your research as to the location of the property.

This is feedback from one of my sisters that stayed at this awful place. I booked it for them!!! Our stay at Brook Farm was awful for a number of reasons. It was far too hot - I think our host said the next morning that the heating had been set at 23 degrees overnight (has he not heard of climate crisis) and we were not told how we could turn it off in our rooms. Sleep was almost impossible in that heat. I could at least open the small window in my room but my sisters window was locked almost shut. Our host could have unlocked it but failed to do so. In the morning ( very early) when we were trying to gram some sleep after a very uncomfortable night we were disturbed by extremely noisy machinery outside my sisters window. Breakfast was very poor with a small selection of sugar - heavy cereals and yogurts, fruit juice, white sliced bread and crumpets, wrinkled - skin apples, and, unbelievably, only instant coffee. I asked for non-diary milk that came in tiny sachets, which were so fiddly to open and no help offered Ed for a bowl of cereal, so I gave up. Our table for breakfast was not even laid. We were not even offered a cooked breakfast as our host said no one wanted one anyway.. Trying to find something positive to report: my mattress was comfortable, and the shower was acceptable, but the bathroom was very small and lacking space,- or a hook - to hang up a bath towelling. We had the impression our host wanted to do as little as possible, and he actually told us he was 'only doing this for his own entertainment '. We both felt we were taken for a ride by an unscrupulous host charging way over the odds for such an unpleasant experience. We won't be going back, and our sister will not be booking it again or recommending it.
