Budget 8 Motel

Facility was close, in town. Rooms were clean. We were only charged $10 each for our small dogs.

I was supposed to have 3 beds, I got 2 beds. The security lock was missing from the inside of the door. The room smelled of smoke even though it said no smoking on the door. It was difficult to read the sign after maps took us to the wrong address.

Location was good. Staff was very helpful & friendly.

Could use some updating, and a table lamp near the desk area for better lighting. Walls were stark white; a soft color would be nicer.

Slept great, the ac was a champion. Quiet motel, since one story. Huge TV!!

Towels were kind of scary. The most ridiculous shampoo packets ever, scratchy soap. Coffee was baaaaad. Basically the room was fine, creature comforts not so much.

It was a clean and attractive room with very convenient parking. The bathroom was like new. There was a coffee maker, microwave, and refrigerator. Good Wi-Fi and quiet environment.

The office staff were very welcoming! Large room (huge tv if you watch tv), ample furniture, easy parking in front of our room.

The staff was pleasant.

The linens on the bed were clean and bed was ok as far as comfort was concerned. We used both queen beds. The outside property was not impressive. The toilet was dirty. The carpeting was spotted. I would not recommend the place. Unfortunately, there are not many choices who allow pets in this location. We have two toy dogs. I would not plan to stay in John Day again.
