Budget 8 Motel

Rooms are a good size and include microwave, coffee machine and fridge.

We had booked a 3 queen beds bedroom for our family but it was not available when we came in. Luckily there was room left for our whole party and the owner admitted there was an error in the booking system and re-booked us in 2 different bedrooms. Very appreciated!

It was next door to a fun bar/restaurant and bowling alley

The mattress was not good, there was a coffee maker, but no condiments, the little soap bars broke like glass, when dropped in shower.

Very nice motel. Clean, comfortable and a reasonable price. Definitely plan on staying there again.

The manager was very helpful we arrived very late. He allowed told me not to worry about leaving by 10AM. He told us to get as much sleep as we needed.

The bed felt like a log ,however, when you are dead tired it's not hard to sleep on a log...

The room was very clean. It was recently remodeled.

It is an older motel that's very clean and spacious. It's on the outskirts of John Day and even with the highway near, our room was very quiet. I paid extra in order to have my dog and it was a very good location to be with a pet. The refrigerator was larger than usually seen in motel rooms which came in handy. I liked that there was an actual coffee pot for us to use. The couple running the motel were very nice.
