We used the kitchen for our meals. Very comfortable apartment. It's very cozy.

Our neighbors were loud. However, I will attribute the nuisance to the acoustics of the walls and the proximity of our bedroom window to their kitchen window. Not much you can do about that other than ask the neighbors to be considerate.
