Modern 2 Bed 2 Bath Apartment Free Parking

I'm sorry I would have given this property 10/10 if it wasn't for the hosts . I just hope you don't have the same problem as we did. I'll explain that in what i didn't like ,but as far as the property is concerned it clean today, not bad location with all the facilities you'd want in a self catering apartment so on that side no complaints.

I booked this as a close friend of ours had been admitted to Watford ICU a week earlier in a coma due to having a stroke and then finding brain tumours. We travelled up to be with his wife at their home near Northampton. He was in Watford as he had collapsed whilst in Watford. We booked this as his wife wanted to be near the hospital on the last night before we returned home. We had not travelled up with any photographic ID as when we rushed up 5 days earlier. we booked it and saw there was a £200 deposit via bank transfer What we did not read anywhere was we also needed photo ID which they demanded after booking.. It was not in their conditions and looking still isn't. We asked about this with the host, firstly with a man who questioned why I didn't have a driving licence on me.. and even if I did .. mines not a photo one. I told him the circumstances of our stay and told him there would be 4 of us ..aged between 53 and 81 so not likely to smash the place up. He said he'd have to contact someone else about this. We were left waiting which with the already upsetting circumstances made it worse. As I hadn't heard by the night before we were due to stay I contacted Booking.com direct and told them about this problem. They totally agreed that nowhere was there any mention of providing photo ID. He also questioned the bank transfer deposit saying it was unusual as most places just hold your credit card number and doesn't actually involve the physical movement of money out of your account. We had to ring booking.com again the next morning as we hadn't heard anything, and yet again a second employee agreed that there was no ID mentioned in conditions. The host eventually said on this occasion would generously wave this condition. Plus we didn't get our £200 back for 10 days and had to chase it up. To be told ID was in the conditions was blatantly untrue

location was near to warner bros studios - 10-15min by car, very clear, cozy to stay :)

neighbors were too loud at night so we cannot sleep, but only the first night-it was the only negative for satying here

Property is located about 15 minute walk from Watford tube station. Had private car parking.

Initially advised key fob for car park gate would be in key safe. No fob. Messaged property and was sent a code. Did try to telephone while waiting for response. No answer. Text message received saying in meeting and to text. Apartment as described however the television did not work as the picture constantly pixelated. Very small amount of cooking equipment and a used scourer was left with the washing up liquid. At 8.25am on the Saturday morning we were shocked by drilling in the foyer directly outside the apartment. Not ideal at that time in the morning.

Lovely rooms, close to places to eat and drink and secure parking. Perfect.
