Clean, spacious, secure parking

Eigentlich eine recht passable Unterkunft und gut geeignet für einen Aufenthalt in der Nähe der Harry Potter Studios.

Problematisch war das Erfordernis, dass kurz vor dem Aufenthalt noch eine Kaution auf ein britisches Konto überwiesen werden sollte. Das hatten wir so nicht auf dem Schirm und gestaltete sich unerwartet schwierig. Alternativen wurden nicht angeboten. Dennoch konnten wir letztlich dort übernachten, hatten aber bis kurz vorher Zweifel, ob alles klappen würde. Warum bei dem Zustand der Wohnung eine zusätzliche Kaution erforderlich ist, hat sich uns nicht erschlossen. Darüber sollte der Vermieter sich nochmals Gedanken machen.

The beds were very comfortable and there was lots of space for four people. We were also very close to my family in Rickmansworth.

The only suggestion I would make is it would have been nice to have either a coffee machine or cafetière to have a hot drink in the morning.

Public transport was a little difficult, a bit further away from the train station than we expected. Toiletries were basic.
