The Mayor's Suite @ The Historic Kanab Inn

Loved the old historic value of the home, and appreciated the book containing the history of the house as well as the owners, and loved all the old photographs. My room – – the mayors suite – – was nice looking and clean. I also loved the location, which was within walking distance to a lot of restaurants and shops. And I loved hearing the church bells in the morning!

This is nitpicky, but all of the furniture in the common rooms looked worn and slightly dingy. I didn’t really feel like sitting on them, but that’s OK. I hung out in my room, which was comfortable.

The entire home was unlocked and open. We were not certain which room we were assigned, but no one ever answered the phone or even called back. Another couple showed up and they were just as puzzled as we were. They knocked on our door and we spoke briefly about the room situation. We left the next morning never having seen any homeowner or manager. It was very strange.

The refrigerator was antique and COMPLETELY empty. Typically, there are minimal provisions, even items being used by other guests.
