The Pudding Stop - Bakewell - Free Parking

Cosy comfortable apartment close to Bakewell town centre & all its amenities. The hosts left us a lovely Bakewell tart & bottle of wine, very kind welcome gifts much appreciated.

Fabulous cosy accommodation right in the heart of bakewell. Hosts were great right through from booking to sending checking in information. Plenty of information in the accommodation on things to do in the local area. Shampoo, conditioner and shower gel also provided which was a nice touch. Everything cleaned to a high standard. Kitchen area has everything you need. Would highly recommend.

Excellent location, on the doorstep of the town centre but also a quick drive to Chatsworth House and other areas. For a two night stay it was the perfect space for a couple and their pooch. Very clean, quite spacious, and had all the amenities needed. Little courtyard was great for an added private area outside. Would recommend!

Nothing, it suited our needs

Great central location, quiet and clean.

As you can see in the pictures on Bookings.com, the cottage is very narrow, a little over the bed width wide. The lighting is very dark, not sure what a winter stay would be like. There isn’t a washer or dryer and the nearest laundrette is in Buxton. Great for one or two days or for a single person but for us it was a little cramped and dark for a longer stay. We were a bit worried about parking, the permit is great if a car park is available but there isn’t a reserved spot.
