YOU and I CAFE

One of the best home stays, that we have stayed in. The host Ashutosh chaturvedi is very helpful. The room was neat and clean, the food was great, just like home cooked meals. Great for families, and very close to the ghat. The host also arranged, and helped us for Aarti at Assi Ghat , must stay here if you're looking for family atmosphere

Property is maintained and clean. It is just beside the ganga River. One room was river facing. Open terrace is there where u can sit for the whole day while u can enjoy the scenic beauty of ganga and order your food. The owner is the only one who is taking care of everything. He is very helpful. But his availability all the time can not be expected. So, if you can manage yourself most of the time and want to enjoy serenity, then this property is exactly what you are looking for. This property is in a walkable distance from Dashwamedh ghat. The owner is in charge of ganga aarti at Assi ghat. So, if you are staying here, he can arrange for a good seat to enjoy this event.

One room is big but without windows. River facing room size is medium, but the bed is small for 2. Old building renovated as a home stay. No lift is available. So, if u have elderly people with a walking disability then this property is not for you because most of the rooms are on the 2nd floor, and only one room for 3 people sharing is on the 1st floor. The property is in Bengali tola Road, which is iconic for its narrowest lanes in Varanasi. So, with lots of luggage if you would like to come, it may put you in trouble because the owner is the sole person to take care of everything and hence, self support is required.

Good location. very friendly and helpful owner. Cosy rooftop with small restaurant. Was already my second time there and will come again.

All was good

Best place we have stayed at in Varanasi. The hotel is very conveniently located, just a short walk to the ghats. There are no streets with traffic nearby, so the area is very quiet and peaceful. Very nice room with a great view, everything was clean and confortable. The owner was kind and gave helpful advice. The hotel has a rooftop café, and we are very grateful to the chef who cooked wonderfully.

Nothing to say to be honest, maybe add some simple deserts to the cafe's menu :)

We enjoyed our stay at You and I Café. Yash, the owner was a great host and helped us a lot with getting Indian simcards and train tickets to Delhi. The homestay is a bit hidden in a narrow alley close to the river, but has a very nice rooftop terrace and restaurant. We spent many hours up there drinking chai, reading and watching the monkeys in the tree :) The rooms are modern, basic but clean. We had a hot water shower and a window with a view to the river side.

Sometimes electricity or the hot water was not working which is not a big deal for us. But to be fair, we found the room a bit pricey for the level of comfort they offered. Nonetheless we would definitely stay at You and I café again!

The stay just next to ghat, if you book the window room, you'll see ganga ji flowing, serene view, Hardly a mintue and you're on ghat, dashashwamedh ghat is only 3 min walking distance. Room was properly cleaned & sanitised. Owner is real nice, homely feel there. Rooftop caffe is there, serves real delicious food. No restrictions on in-out time.

Nothin there wasn't a thing we didn't like. It perfectly located, everything is accessible on foot distance.
