YOU and I CAFE

We had an amazing 8-day stay at You and I Cafe in Varanasi! The rooftop cafe with its Ganga view was our favorite spot to work and unwind, while the ghats were just a 5-minute walk away. Shashi Bhaiya, the chef, made the food with so much love, and Yash, the owner, was incredibly knowledgeable, he was helpful with anything we needed, and also a great storyteller! A perfect mix of warmth, great food, and unbeatable location—this place truly felt like home!

everything 1. they don't pick calls . i almost called them 30 times to know the way and they called back after an hour 2. Owner is completely unaware of how service is provided. when we finally reached the hotel somehow after walking almost for a kilometre, he was busy eating food and asked us to wait 3. washrooms... not good. jet doesn't work properly . absolutely cramped.

Absolutely amazing location. 2 mins to the main Ghats. Roof top is nice to relax on. Quiet area even though it's so close to everything.

More like a home stay than a hotel. Wasn't provided with a key for my door or any explanation of the facilities. Just walked in and was pointed to a room.

The room was cozy and clean with a nice view of ghat. My stay, as a first time solo traveller and that too on the weekend of Dev Diwali couldn't have been better. The ghats are only 2 min walk making it so much easy to access. Mr. Yash was so helpful and he made my entire experience of attending Ganga Aarti such a pleasure that I am sure that I will return.

it is very nice clean right next to the gath, it has a balcony with a view of the ganga and monkeys outside the window. the owner is very friendly and helpful, I can highly recommend it, I will definitely come back there

The view from the room with sunrise and Ganga view was exactly what I was looking for. Room is few steps away from the main Dadhaswamedh Ghat. Yash, is a great host and the place offers complete privacy. View from the rooftop restaurant is amazing with freshly cooked food. Looking forward to visit again 🤍🫶

Location is good if you want to really experience Benares daily life. The owner is helpful as he recommends places of interest and taxi service if required :) Also the roof too bad is quite handy to chill :)
