Super 8 by Wyndham Weston WV

This property is an exceptional value. The rooms are clean and the beds are comfortable. I love the ease of checking in here. I prechecked in online and when I walked in they handed me my room card with no other hassle. I have two small dogs and I was not charged extra for the dogs which really impressed me. We travel every winter and stay at this property on the way south and on the way north. We have stayed at other Wyndham properties that weren't as nice, weren't as convenient to check into and not as comfortable for more money.

The breakfast wasn't all that good but that doesn't bother me because I don't usually eat breakfast. Overall, I have nothing negative to say about this place.

I'm having a problem getting refunded by either Booking.Com or the Weston Super 8. I was charged from both of these places. and it's difficult to get refunded from just one of them

The room was in unacceptable condition. The bed had hair all over it, surfaces hadn’t been cleaned, and there was a random water bottle and grocery bag left on the floor. The room also smelled awful. The first staff member I encountered was smoking right outside the entrance and acted like I was inconveniencing her by simply checking in. When I asked for fresh sheets, she handed me a wrinkled, balled-up set with attitude. At that point, I decided to leave. To be fair, the staff member who helped me afterward was friendly and professional, and when I called about a refund, they handled it without any difficulty. But overall, the condition of the room and initial interaction were completely unacceptable.
