Beautiful, clean, and comfortable accommodation with a wonderful, friendly host. There are lots of little thoughtful touches in the rooms and it's a great location. We only stayed one night on our way home from working in Scotland but it would make a great base for exploring Cumbria. The breakfast was great with amazing home-made jams and catered for my colleague who has multiple dietary intolerances without batting an eyelid. It's rare for her to be able to get a decent breakfast without compromising so that was very much appreciated. 😊

Beautifully and very tastefully decorated home, a lovely personal experience. Very friendly host. Just a feel good place to spend a night.

Shared facilities (although we were expecting that). The stairs might be a bit steep and tight for some. But whatever cons there were, they were easily outweighed by the pros.
