Such a friendly place to stay with a warm and helpful host. We really enjoyed the informality of chats over breakfast and approve of the support for local produce and charities such as the Mountain Rescue Team.

"Very good."

Breakfast was lovely. Homemade jams and marmalade and yoghurt too. Host was great. Very friendly and happy to help with anything.

If I had to say anything about the rooms it would be that we had a shared bathroom but saying that for the first two nights we had it to ourselves.

"Warm Penrith welcome"

The host, Christel, is excellent. Very friendly and helpful, she made us feel very welcome and at home. Food was great, and we slept very well.
