The location was absolutely beautiful. Right on the side of the dam on the remote side of the Vaal. Be warned that there are no shops around and that the its very secluded and peaceful!

Absolutely tranquil and peaceful. Great fishing spot and the cottage itself has modern amenities and is quite homey. They were stocked with quite a few helpful things like clingwrap and cleaning supplies. The hosts was kind and helpful.
The road to get there is about 10kms of dirt road. The bathtub didn't have a hand shower (the actual shower is outdoors)

The comfort of the cosy cottage. Peace and serenity of the area.Waterfront on our doorstep. Awesome fishing. Hospitality of the awesome collies 🥰 And the awesome hosts Troya and Craig who were very accommodating to last minute requests, and amazingly hospitable. Wished we could have stayed longer.

We had an awesome weekend, the unit was spotless, right on the water. Stunning outdoor shower. Braai and bonfire area with the dam as your view. Not too far from JHB. Incredibly safe, comfortable and we had great fishing as well.
The fact that we were only there for a weekend. Could have spent a few more days but we'll be back.

Cottage is private, very comfortable with everything you need and well done up. The dam right on your doorstep. A great place to unwind. The hosts are very accommodating and welcoming. Our new favorite place at the Vaal.

Fantastic location with the Vaal Dam right on your doorstep. The hosts are extremely friendly and helpful. The WiFi is really good for streaming and/or remote work. Highly Recommend the place !
