Everything, the hosts, the location, the views, the sea, the facilities, the safety, the comfort, the sunset, the sunrise, the fishing, the kayaking, the bath with a view, the outdoor shower with a view. This place is truly a hidden gem and don’t even get me started on Craig and Troya. Where to even start? I’ll just say this, Craig’s cappucino and Troyas Pecan biscuits are enough to win you over. Never mind their hospitality.

Beautiful property with a lovely bathroom and outdoor shower. The view of the Vaal river while taking a shower is beautiful as well. Had a great stay !

Incredible stay, highly recommend! The cottage was absolutely beautiful, clean and fully equipped with everything we needed for a comfortable, enjoyable stay. It was a peaceful getaway with great fishing and beautiful views. Troya and Craig went above and beyond to make sure that we were well taken care of throughout our stay. We will definitely be back.

This is a true hidden Gem on the Vaaldam . The owners are amazing people and will go out of their way to make you feel at home. The fishing was fantastic! The cottage is modern and the Finnishes are better than most 5 star hotels. I will definitely book another trip and take my wife along as this is an amazing place for a romantic get away .
