A drop of milk would be nice to be able to have a cup of tea even. I messaged the host to explain we would be late arriving and due to circumstances outside our control it was a half hour later than anticipated. The host was incredibly abrupt and borderline hostile. It was a tense atmosphere and we did not feel in any way welcome at any point during our brief stay. We were asked immediately on arrival when we were leaving. The following morning my mother went to the car to find the host standing beside her and again speaking in a confrontational manner. Woken early by a velux window without a curtain.
