The host was very welcoming and tye room was massive,

Bathroom could be cleaner

Although some parts of the property were in the process of renovation, the room was clean, comfortable and quiet and the host was very friendly.

The property was difficult to find. Adding Clarence Street to the address would have made this easier. It would have been nice if a mug, a glass, a teaspoon and a wastepaper bin had been available in the room

I liked that everything I needed was available in the room. It had all of the basics you expect (wardrobe, iron, hairdryer, towels, kettle) and also a fridge (something no longer available in hotels), microwave and a folding dining table with a couple of chairs. The TV had no ariel but it had streaming channels (Netflix, Prime, iPlayer) and came with a dvd player. If you wanted breakfast, they only charged £1 to make it for you. Mak, the owner is lovely. Very welcoming and friendly.

The place is undergoing refurbishment, and there is so much boarding concealing the building that i wasn't able to find it initially. There's no curb appeal. No carpet or handrail on stairs inside. Main access was from the back, which was poorly lit, and you had to reach over it to unlatch it. That was difficult for me as I'm a small person. Once through the gate, there were steps with no rails or support of any kind into the garden before entering. There's no signage on the gate to make you aware of the steps. The room had excess furniture (folded clothes airer, a folding bed, a broken lamp, and a random antique looking chair tucked in the corner) The bedding was naff and dated. The towels provided are old and not sift and fluffy like they are in hotels. For the money I paid for my stay, I wasn't expecting hotel standards but i did expect better. Even though I did get a few extras I wasn't expecting, it doesn't make up for the unfinished building work.

To be honest nothing it was dirty staff weren't very welcoming
