The electric didn't work

Location is terrible.no signal on phone and single track roads ,place was freezing I got given wrong lodge ,I left four days early my dog was shivering.no welcome from host and no refund ,I'm disgusted

The letting company, TJS had the worst customer service I've experienced in a long time and would rate them zero if I could. I was not sent the code for the key safe and it was less than 24 hours before I was due to check in. Staff were hopelessly untrained (not their fault!) and couldn't give me the code or suggest anything else i could do to obtain the code, apart from repeating to check my junkbox, which i had obviously done. Being a Saturday evening, i knew they didnt open again until the Monday, but was due to check in on the Sunday. It was very stressful not knowing if it was worth me travelling 200 miles on the off chance of being able to get into the property. I had to spend a long, frustrating time on the phone, repeating myself. Finally I was sent the code late that evening, and I was meant to be leaving early the next morning. Really tainted my stay. I travel quite a lot and will make sure I dont have to deal with TJS again. The cabin itself was fine!

Log fire no logs and nothing to light it with Radiator took a very long time to heat the place would of been nice if was on before arrival

It's a quiet location and near to where I work and the price is not over the top.

I arrived at the property to find that it wasn't clean. Towels are on the floor, bedsheets not made, floor dirty, sink dirty. I phoned the property and they apologise and said they will sort it out shortly but after 30 minutes I communicated through whatsapp because the reception is bad and they said that they could not find anybody to clean the cottage and that either they will send me to another property or I could find myself somewhere to stay and get refunded for the night. I choose to find a hotel myself nearer to where I work. The next day the cottage was ready and I stayed there for the next 3 days. They asked for my bank details for the refund which I did but until now I have not received any refund or any communication. This has been more that 4 weeks from my stay with the cottage. I called the property last week and gave details but they have not called me since.

Absolutely beautiful cabin in a lovely quiet area. The views surrounding are beautiful and we even got a surprise visit from one of the farm dogs.

The mattress was a little uncomfortable but nothing to disturb a nights sleep
