Cosy Lodge on Farm with Donkeys Parking

It was soooo peaceful, in the countryside. Yet literally right next to Chester. Absolutely brilliant location. Spacious accommodation. And on its own, so utterly private (apart from stable staff). We’d come again without a doubt.

Be aware this is situated in the same yard as working stables, so although it absolutely didn’t bother us at all, your outlook is of outhouses, and varying rural yard detritus. Again didn’t bother us but the accommodation itself is a little tired in places inside.

Very friendly and helpful hosts. The lodge is in a quiet location but only 5 minutes drive from Chester. The beds are really comfy and the donkeys on the farm are great.
