Cosy 2 bed cottage on Dartmoor , Near Ivybridge

Great location for a wedding we were attending. Good use of space. Easy parking.

Much smaller than anticipated, stairs up to annex bed are very steep and narrow with no room to stand up.

Lovely cosy cottage, perfect for our 2 night stay with our 3 year old son & dog!

Everything, gorgeous cosy cottage with Everything we needed for a 2 day stay .it was a great base for going to our Sons graduation in Plymouth, managed to get local taxi to pick us up and take us to Ivybridge station and got the train into Plymouth. Beds comfortable and i do have underlying health conditions which make this very important!Sons were very happy up on the mezzanine ,stairs are steep but manageable. If you need to get up in the night best to use downstairs room.well equipped kitchen and there's even an iron and ironing board which I didn't see on the list before we left home. Loved the wood burner on our first night, if you wanted to use it again you'd have to bring some kindling etc ,logs provided for 2 nights but not the other bits .

If you are coming back at night ensure you are aware of your immediate area and have plenty of charge on phone for torch !we were dropped bk by a taxi but completely lost our bearings and it's so dark !!we eventually found the cottage but it was a bit frightening 🫣 Guest book has run out of pages disappointed not to be able to write in a book. No pen/paper Those are really not negative points about the cottage, can't wait to stay again and we'll bring our own pen and paper and a torch 😀

Perfect home from home when working away. Good value. Dog friendly which is great too. I have booked a number of dates for whilst working in Devon over the next couple of months.

Some issues at check in which were resolved quickly. I met Val the cleaner who was a delightful lady who couldn’t have been more welcoming.

Well designed for functionality with plenty of storage space. We particularly appreciated the empty kitchen cupboards in which to put food.

Some general instructions for example what to do with rubbish, how to use the oven any walks available from the door, would have been nice. Also the host did not pick up the phone when we called just after we arrived, at the time we said we would. I think this is the one time she should be easily contactable to solve any problems. Typing out the WiFi password would also be a good idea so the capital and non capital letters could be distinguished.

Quirky cottage, central location.

Split level flooring, if you have any mobility issues I wouldn't recommend it.

Cute little cottage with everything you need. Very quiet and close to the moors and dog friendly too. Sue left us some milk, cereal bars and a prepared fire which was lovely.

Bed in main room was quite small for us. And sometimes felt a little cold. Had a bit of trouble getting in to start with but worked it out eventually.

This place was lovely, very clean, and spacious, ideal little place to use for a few days

Bathroom window had gaps in the frosting so when in shower was partially visible to the overlooking apartments. Not enough small bits of wood for the log burner so struggled to get it going it going on the second night.
