"great place for a couple, that's easy to live in"

the fire and supplied wood comfy lounge easy to work TV quiet surroundings efficient cooker/kettle/toaster easy to control boiler/heating

dark grey is a terrible colour for a bedroom! it took 2 days for the house to feel warmed up [apart from the lounge with its wood burner]

"ruined by dog smell left early because of it"

very bad smell of dog throughout the cottage mainly the livinroom area and fur on the chair in livinroom.

"Best place we've ever stayed"

Such a beautiful warm cozy cottage. The attention to detail made us feel like we were in a luxury resort. Check in instructions were perfect including directions. It is decorated to an outstanding level. I cannot wait to stay again for longer.

We only booked one night, we didn't want to leave

"Home away from home"

I normally stay in hotels when visiting my family but this was the 1st time I was bringing my little girl with me so felt like I needed more space. Found this little gem and had everything we needed it was home away from home. My grandad used to live in Moorhaven so was blast from the past for him. Definitely will be back in the future but next time with my baby boy. Sue little cottage is clean and very homely.

One thing I didn't like but didn't spoil our trip was the bed was a bit noisy when moving or getting in when trying not to wake a one year old apart from that nothing.
