Cosy 2 bed cottage on Dartmoor , Near Ivybridge

Spacious, clean and well equipped

Instructions on the heating system would have been helpful. Boiler control via a remote rather than thermostat is unusual and it took us some time on a cold morning to work out how to turn up the heating as the preset temp was very low

The house was very clean and very quiet location

It was a bit difficult to find. Host gave very nice description how to get there but a 📌 i think would be easier.

Lovely little cottage in a nice location. Host was very helpful when my satnav got me lost! Everything is a little worn, but just homely rather than shabby. Great central heating for winter.

Arrived in the dark and there is no outside light at the front. Steps down to the front door which were difficult in the dark with luggage. Some rooms are on different levels (just one big step up or down) plus second bedroom up on a mezzanine. Lovely cottage, but not suitable for anyone with mobility issues. Bathroom is overlooked from above and has no blind! (opaque glass doesn't work in the dark...)

Lovely cosy cottage, situated in a lovely position close to the moors. The cottage has everything that you need. Nice and warm and homely. Easy to find, parking, tea,coffee and milk etc available, which is a nice touch when you arrive.

Good location. Nice decor

Uncomfortable bed. No tea bags or sugar. Only enough kindling for one fire. No oven glove. Clearer instructions on which parking bay to use.

Had trouble finding cottage in the dark as I got there late

Lots of character and super cosy. Also really well equipped with everything we needed. Lovely big bath. Nice kitchen with lots of facilities. Perfect for two people. There’s also a cute bedroom up above the lounge. We took our dog for a walk and there is a lovely walking route around the grounds behind the property.

The brick effect wallpaper behind the bed in the main bedroom, but that’s just our personal taste.
