Wānaka Mountain Views Guest Room --no kitchen--

Loved the room, nice and very clean..very friendly and helpful owner.

I was aware of it, I just wasn't expecting hearing the owners so much. The room is separated only by normal door, so you hear everything.. luckily I went there only to sleep but if you are looking for something quiet and peaceful, definitely not this spot.

Nicole's place had everything that we needed and then some! The bed is SUPER comfy (there are even two types of pillows), the room is spacious, clean and tidy and the en suite is great. Mountain views are the cherry on top.

Lovely room en suite. Comfy bed. Lovely decor. Easy access. Good communication . Beautiful view. Peaceful . Everything has been thought about to make the stay a comfortable one. Good tea/ coffee facilities.

Slightly far out of town. Need a car. No kitchen facilities/ dishes so breakfasting not possible, but this is made clear so not really a negative . Otherwise all was fab.

Can hear people and noise from main house No windows to open in bedroom (have to leave sliding door open) Hot water pressure in shower fluctuates when main house uses water Lack of overall privacy especially from the bedroom looking directly into the neighbours kitchen/lounge On 2nd night there was a loud humming type noise coming through the wall (this could have been a dishwasher or dryer Having to squeeze past 2 cars on 2nd night to get to our room. Being very aware that when leaving early as we were down for the A & P show that we were probably waking the owners up as we walked on the stone/gravel pathways to our car. A large fridge dominated one corner of the room with virtually no use to us as the room has no cooking facilities (which we knew). A smaller fridge would have being sufficient with coffee and tea making facilities either on a table or shelf rather than on the fridge (tea bags made an extremely bad cup of tea, either old or a cheap brand) We both felt there was no personal touch to our room or stay.
