The fact that’s it’s close to the centre access and metro stop

The apartment is very well located - there’s a bus stop literally right outside the building, which takes you straight to the metro (perfect for lazy travelers) :) If you’re up for a short walk, metro is just a few hundred meters. Self check-in is easy, and communication with the host was good. The flat has a fridge, electric kettle, and a few cups and plates. Overall, it was clean, but there are a few spots that clearly haven’t been cleaned in ages - like the lamp above the bathroom mirror.

Unfortunately, the apartment is located in a typical old Budapest tenement building - shabby and run-down - so if you're not a fan of that “urbex” or "ruin pubs" vibe, I wouldn’t recommend it. Also not ideal if you don’t enjoy hauling luggage upstairs - it’s on the 3rd floor with no elevator, and the staircase is narrow and winding. A big downside is the apartment’s appearance: the furniture is old, random, and not very functional. There’s no bedside lamp - just harsh overhead lighting. The bed is soft, creaky, and uncomfortable - you can feel every spring. The towels were clean but very worn out - definitely in need of replacement. The ceilings are high, but the plain white walls are completely bare, which makes the space feel cold and uninviting. There was Wi-Fi, but I couldn’t connect - maybe it was just me, but still. The toilet is positioned so close to the sink that it’s nearly impossible to sit without bumping your head. There are lots of little issues that make you not want to stay a second night - even though the place is clean, and in a great location.

Good location, two desks, well-equipped kitchen, well described check-in and check-out instructions. Shops and kebab nearby.

I had to buy a new shower head, it was looking awful. Tightly placed toilet. No elevators to the 3rd floor. Shower curtains instead of glass walls. Late check-in time, early afternoon check-in requires additional fee of which I was notified in advance.

The studio apartment was spacious.

It was not very clean. Nowhere near hotel-level cleanness. The shower was not cleaned (thoroughly) before I came and I felt quite uncomfortable taking a shower. On top of all that, a very unpleasant smell came out of the toilet/shower.

Excellent location within walking distance of most things you'd be looking for in Budapest. Nice spacious room, quiet, good kitchen facilities. I was allowed a late check-out free of charge (1pm)

Check-in wasn't available until 18:30 which meant I had to carry my bag around until then. Property is on the 3rd floor of a building which is not particularly well kept - communal stairs area is quite run-down. But once you get into the property it's lovely.
