Beautiful Caravan With Decking At Carlton Meres Holiday Park, Suffolk Ref 60022M

In a nice quiet part of the site, tucked away in a corner which we liked Park facilities looked good although didn’t use En-suite with a second shower was a real bonus

Builders were working at the side of the van and left materials there including cement mixer for our entire stay. Looked untidy outside the accommodation.

There was plenty of cutlery, plates and appliances to use in the kitchen.

My main issue with the property is that the curtains and blinds are essentially useless. They’re light coloured and allow 95% of light through, meaning we were woken at 5am with a fully bright room. They need black out curtains or similar in the bedrooms. Consequently I had two really bad nights sleep. The property has a very old analogue tv which is poor quality. The surrounding grass and paving was waterlogged and extremely filthy from building works. There is only room to park one car and all the surrounding caravans are squashed into the park. The place was not clean on arrival. We found several sweet wrappers at the side of one of the beds along with lots of dust. It’s cheap, yes, basic, yes, adequate… far from. I may aswell have slept with the curtains wide open and a light on. I wouldn’t recommend or revisit.

The outside area was extremely wet through flooding meaning any step onto grass covered foot with dirt and wet

Would have appreciated a email the day before arrival to remind us about bedding and booking in. Had to email 2c with a number of issues which were dealt with quite quickly but should have been dealt with before. Dirt found in several places.

I could not gain access to caravan. No key code was supplied. very poor start to stay The sat nav postcode took us to a farmyard two miles away. The same thing happened the last time i used your company, it took me hours to find the property. suffice to say i will not be using your company again. please take me off your mailing list and take all my details off as well. my idea of a holiday is not to be stressed out all of the time.

The location was excellent, in a lovely quiet corner of the park yet only a 10 minute walk from the restaurant and entertainment. The caravan was lovely and clean with all the facilities needed for a restful stay

Needed a slotted spoon for my poached eggs ! But we improvised and managed without !
