Well furnished, including kitchen amenities, plates, utensils, hand dish wash soap. Liked that thinner blankets were available. Even with AC, the unit got warm, and the provided fan was helpful. Great water pressure in shower, and washing machine was mist useful.. Bed was comfy and designated parking was a plus. little store across the street has basic provisions. It was a lovely newer unit, and I would highly recommend

I had trouble with the link sent to me for checking in. It didn't work on my phone or my laptop. Luckily I was able to forward to my husband's phone and he was able to open it. An alternate method should be made available for checking in.

Some road noise and some minor road works. Some efforts would be able to block out these minor noise issues but unit's windows and doors are not designed as such. Noise isn't too bad especially at night.

BOOKING +++++++++++ When I reserved this accommodation, they charged 50% of the fee to my credit card without notifying me in advance. Although the booking is cancellable, overseas visitors like myself still lose out on exchange rate differences if we cancel. I booked the apartment on April 3, was charged 50% on April 5, the balance on September 30, and checked in on October 13. This lack of transparency regarding payments and timing is outrageous. CONTACTLESS CHECK-IN ++++++++++++++++++++ The check-in process was fully contactless, but the experience was far from smooth. They only sent us the check-in details on the morning of our stay—even though they’d already taken full payment. On that day, we had a long drive from Franz Josef to Queenstown with no mobile signal, leaving us stranded until we could find a town to check our email. This last-minute communication is extremely unprofessional and made the start of our stay stressful and unpleasant. APARTMENT ++++++++++ I chose this apartment specifically to avoid the city’s hustle and bustle. However, it’s located right on a busy main road, making it unbearably noisy all day and night, especially at midnight. If I had known about this, I would never have chosen this place. The noise was beyond disruptive and ruined the peace we expected. The mountain was located behind another hotel, so from our unit on the 2nd floor, we were forced to see the parking lot and the hotel first before finally catching a glimpse of the mountains. This was incredibly disappointing!

FACILITY +++++++++++ There’s a horrifying decor in the unit — a dark-colored artwork of a woman’s head in the lounge, staring ominously over the entire space, making it feel like a haunted house. At night, it was even worse — like something out of a horror movie! We had to cover it with a towel just to feel remotely comfortable. This disturbing art choice is utterly inappropriate for a rental unit. No information was provided about the WiFi in the check-in details or anywhere in the unit. We eventually found a router on the floor and had to figure out the login ourselves. This lack of basic communication is inexcusable. Though the unit is supposedly 75 m², the dining area is cramped, with a massive six-seat table and oversized chairs. Every time we needed to walk across the room, we had to move chairs out of the way. Shockingly, the balcony is larger than both the dining and living areas. The TV is stuffed into a corner, with only one spot on the sofa offering a decent view of it. The apartment is lined with massive glass windows on all the main walls. While this sounds nice in theory, the reality is unbearable. The room heats up intensely from morning until late afternoon. Closing the curtains makes it dark and depressing. Staying here felt like being in a fishbowl, visible to the residents in the opposite building and exposed to too much sun, yet devoid of any comfort. I WILL NEVER STAY IN THIS ACCOMMODATION AGAIN, AND I WILL STRONGLY WARN EVERYONE TO AVOID THIS PLACE AT ALL COSTS. THE STRESS AND DISAPPOINTMENT ARE NOT WORTH IT. ****** STAY AWAY! ******
