"Amplia casa situada en las afueras del centro, caminando a 15 min. Zona traquila"

7.0

Amplia casa con habitaciones muy amplias. Cuenta con todas las facilidades. Los toiletries y las bebidas de cortesia.

Se escuchaba mucho ruido al parecer de una bomba durante la mañana sobre todo y eso llegaba a ser molesto.

"Perfect for a family of three or four to enjoy a week in Oaxaca"

8.0

We really enjoyed our stay. The location is slightly noisy, but the bedrooms were quiet and we slept fine. It's also quite convenient to Plaza de Llano (great food and local life going on there, especially families out in the evening) and easy walking to the Zocalo, and the aqueduct area. The house is quite nice; we really loved the mini-jungle in the first floor courtyard, and the terraces and additional room (dining? living? all worked well) on the third floor. And the decor is, as you'd expect in Oaxaca, quite lovely.

Minor issues: hot water was initially problematic, but the management sent some wonderful plumbers who fixed things right away (overall management were really quite responsive and pleasant to work with). Plumbing isn't TP-friendly (which might really freak out some first-time travelers) and the water pressure is weak, but these issues are pretty much true everywhere in Oaxaca and much of Mexico. Kitchen equipment is a little skimpy (a toaster would be appreciated). But none of these issues certainly should spoil your visit.

"A lovely property for a family stay, convenient to restaurants and parks"

8.0

Great location near restaurants and parks, with plenty of space for a family to spread out. The property had a very nice courtyard, bedrooms, and showers. The kitchen was great for our needs on vacation. Air conditioning in the bedrooms worked well. While there is ambient city noise, I found the location to be on the quieter side for Oaxaca. I would rent again anytime.

Need to provide paper towels (more than a partial roll) or a kitchen towel/cloth option and a spare garbage bag or two for cleanup. It was difficult to tidy up with just the sponge and we like to keep the kitchen clean when we cook. The bed on the 3rd floor is very short and our feet hung off the end— my husband is 6’6” so not a surprise, but I an 5’6” and my feet hung off as well.
