Nikau Hotel El Cuyo - Adults Only

I loved how cozy the property felt. Everything you could need was right there. The staff were super friendly even with my poor Spanish, they went above and beyond with my late check-in (missed flights etc). This is def a Tulum vibe hotel but for grown ups.

We had an incredibly special stay at Nikau. All of the staff was lovely and helpful, the breakfast and bar were excellent, and El Cuyo was just the uncrowded, unpretentious, relaxing beach town we were looking for. Incredibly grateful for Nikau!

Before even arriving to Nikau Hotel, we were in contact with them and had many questions resolved as in tours, massages etc. Once we arrived at the hotel, it was beautiful! Andrea and Adriana received us and gave us the run down of the hotel and El Cuyo. They accompanied to our room which is not seen that much anymore so that was appreciated. They gave us amazing recommendations for eating out which we didn't have time to visit many but will be back for sure to try more. The breakfast had a variety of food and fresh fruit and juice! Jairo our bartender made awesome cocktails, we recommend the mezcalita. Every detail in the rooms and hotel were spot on. Overall, the staff and the attention was exactly what we were looking for. We will be back!!

The tranquil vibe was the thing we loved most about Nikau. It is an amazing boutique hotel with beautiful artwork in the lobby and dining area. The entrance will draw you into their little piece of paradise. It feels very secure, laid back, super clean, very large and tasty breakfasts, super comfortable king size bed, hammock, lovely little pool, nice bar area for ordering cocktails from the hotel. They really do go all out to make their guests feel welcome, safe and comfortable. The extra touches are what make it unique.

Everything was perfect, a short walk across the Sandy street to the beach, 2 minutes maybe, great restaurants within walking distance. You do not need a car to get around. It is located in the center of the main beach road for easy access.

New, clean, very beautiful design. Nice pool. Has parking. The room is very spacious and high ceiling. Good quality amenities. The breakfast has what is needed and is complete.

No place where to dry a bikini or a towel. Not kitesurf friendly, no storage area. Was not permitted to take cups in the room. For the second coffee at breakfast we had to pay. Our room in the ground floor had no privacy.
