Communication. I requested to extend checkout time way and was assured to request again 24hrs before check out. I did this only to be told its not possible. If a had known I wouldn't have booked in the first place. Really disappointed

Spacious and light, good layout, double glazed, parking and convenience store opposite

Located on the corner of a busy road and side road. Despite not being overly warm the apartment was very stuffy and warm so windows needed to be opened immediately and kept open throughout. However the external noise was very disturbing; with both vehicle and people traffic making noise from 6.00am (Bin collection. Is that legal?) til 11/11.30pm. The occupants of the apartment below also continued with DIY / hammering until 11pm (until another neighbour demanded quiet). The apartment seemed clean on the surface but grill pan had food residue as did 2 of the cooking dishes we wanted to use. Some basic DIY and maintenance needed. Lots of loose screws (wobbly chairs) and hinges, cupboard doors not closing properly and lots of scratches to walls, peeling paint on window sills. Looked tired given it is a modern / newish apartment. The emergency call number was completely inadequate. We arrived back on Sunday evening at 10pm to find the external lock not working (clearly happened before as emergency no displayed right next to lock). When we called to say we were not able to get in the staff member was incomprehensible and did not offer a solution ie an emergency locksmith. We had no alternative other than to disturb other residents who had to come down and let us in through the back entrance. This was then left open by others and so was completely accessible and so security was compromised. We checked out at 10am the next morning and lock had not been fixed. Totally unacceptable.

Temperature in the apartment set to 27 degrees - as the outside temperature was around 27 degrees..told this was a set temperature that could not be altered - but we should open a window? except we couldn't open the bedroom window as the vertical blind in the bedroom was fixed in a position that made the window impossible to open? Also advised that " fans were not described as being listed in the amenities " we didn't t ask for a fan- just a temperature that was adjustable as a basic human right? Severe lack of utensils, kitchen equipment - super disappointed generally with this apartment
