The only good thing about this place is the location - it is very close to the beach. It had the potential to be lovely but we sadly had a really bad experience. We didn't actually stay in flat 5C due to the fact that when we arrived there was no electricity, no bedding, no towels, no crockery, no cutlery - just bare furniture. We were relocated to Flat 1 in the same building. Flat 1 had a clean washing up sponge.

We were not given the address of the property until after we had actually arrived in Brighton and had contacted the host company several times. On arrival at Flat 5C as mentioned above we were clearly not expected (no power, no bedding, no kitchen equipment, etc). The host company did relocate us to a smaller flat in the same building which we accepted as we needed somewhere to stay. Flat 1 was grubby - hair in the sink and shower, torn and stained towels, dirty surfaces and windows, no bedside lights, to name a few issues. The bedlinen was seemingly clean but marked (certain marks should have alerted me to the subsequent going home present!). In 3 days we managed 1 warm shower between 3 of us, otherwise no hot water in the showers. After responding to my comments about the cleanliness with a request for photographic proof on day 1, all later messages were ignored. No-one got back in touch with me. A clean property is a basic requirement if you are in the business of holiday rentals and good customer service if there is a problem. Our experience of Beyond Hosting was not positive at all. During our stay I received automated messages hoping we were enjoying our stay in Flat 5C, and afterwards a message hoping we had a great time. The WhatsApp customer support ceased all contact in spite of the problems.

Cleanliness and location

Even in emergency situations with a disabled person, the owner/ manager didn’t call back!!!!!! Very careless attitude! Unfit for the “hospitality sector”!

The Ease to reach, the close distance to the see, the clarity of the check in process.

1. The heaters wern't working at all at the living area and were not proper in the bedrooms. 2. The wifi was icorrect and didn't work.. solution provided to use our neighbour's wifi was not good and we couldn't receive network. 3. there was an alarm peeping all the night of the second night which prevented me to sleep as it wake me up by about 2:30am and continued almost till morning.

I didn’t want to give a bad review about the apartment but the owner didn’t want to solve the problem. The property wasn’t as in the pictures. We expected 4 separate beds but had only 2. Also it was very dirty from previous guests. One of the bed was broken. So, I advise you not to stay here, because if something goes wrong, you are unlikely to get an answer

The tidiness was top notch,the location and neibour hood was friendly for the family expecially kids.I would love to come back

The beddings I.e.duvey,pillows and pillow cases,are too old,dirty and smelly.they need changing xx

Close to city centre and beach. Each sleeping room has its own bath room.

booking said there would be parking included, I filtered specifically for included parking but it turned out that that was referring to a public car park ( 28£ p.d.). Beds were very narrow and uncomfortable. No bedside lamps or any other smaller lamps, only big lights ( very uncomfortable). A lot of very steep and narrow steps ( over 50)! That would have been nice to know in advance. Not suitable for people with limited mobility. Definitely not worth the price!
