Aplanty House: A Hidden Gem in The Heart of The Fens

Well appointed, clean and peaceful location surrounded by apple orchards

We arrived at the same time as another guest and neither of us had realised that it was 1 entrance through the communal areas to the separate bedrooms. Misunderstanding quickly resolved! Perhaps difficult but veluxes high up in bedroom ceilings without manual or electric blind mechanism does mean light bedrooms from rather early in the summer months. Otherwise all rather lovely

The room was a little like a jail people walking up and down the corridor outside the room, from very early morning,

Clean, comfortable and lots of space and some great interior design. Its quiet location makes it the perfect place for a relaxing break. Comfortable bed and good shower. Use of a fridge and other kitchen appliances to save having to eat out or have takeaways all the time. Convenient for Wisbech and Kings Lynn.

Good locations and very clean. A hidden gem

When I got to Aplanty House I had to guess which room was mine. It would have been better if there was a note pinned to the door saying "Reserved for Mr. ?????". I realise that the weather was extremely hot, a fan in the room would have been much appreciated.

Loved our Superior room, especially the comfy bed and superb bathroom

Lovely converted barnhouse in an apple orchard. Our room was massive, with a modern bath and shower, and was very clean. Handy having a shared kitchen area too with fridge, dishwasher, etc. Would've liked to have stayed for longer and will definitely return again if staying in that area.

Absolutely brilliant location . Very peaceful and nice to just relax and hear the birds singing . Great that parking is free and decent sized shower . Very clean and nice decor . Comfy beds and very good standard of quilts and pillows . Nice to be able to access Netflix overall would highly recommend and will be back in the future .

Could have done with a mini fridge in the room just to keep milk ect in to save having to use communal in the night . Also maybe not have as many plants on dining room table in communal area .

Navigating the parking was a challenge and the other guest we asked to shift their car slightly was quite rude. Not having a person on site and without clearly marked spaces for each room was a tiny bit stressful.
