Aplanty House: A Hidden Gem in The Heart of The Fens

Everything, was better than I thought, so quiet, the bath and shower were huge lol,, id definitely stay here again

The only downside,, was going to have a bath but there wasn't any hot water, and if there was it took forever to get hot, which I never got,,, I had a shower instead, but had to put a mat down as the bathroom floor was getting wet.

Had to be up early for airport run and was concerned about being blocked in the allocated parking area. A lot of noise from another room sounded like the lady was unwell until 4am: However, this would be out of the control of the owners.

Its in a great location, the walks are lovely. The kitchen communal area was lovely! Kitchen is great.

The floors in my room where super squeaky so I was constantly worried id wake other people in the other rooms

The barn conversion had all the character going with high end fittings.

Lovely setting and beautifully decorated place for a short stay. Kitchen equipped well with plenty of communal fridge space. Comfortable bed and nice hot water with good water pressure. Easy access parking.

Flooring is so squeaky, especially in the super king room. Make me feel uncomfortable walking around as I didn't want to disturb anyone, even turning over in bed would make the floor boards squeak. Definitely need a blind in the bathroom though as the window backs on to the parking area.

Quiet surroundings and neat, tidy and clean. Thanks for the tea and coffee facilities, and nice shower with products to use. Plenty of room around bed and bathroom.

Not a dislike, but even though we read the instructions to the letter, we could not get our bedroom door to lock. Whether inside or out. We were in a rush to go and meet friends, otherwise I would’ve contacted the owner. We took bags etc with us. Having a room number or name would’ve helped. We were worried we had the right room as we didn’t know how many doubles there were - another couple asked us how we knew too as they were a little confused which was their room.

It’s was nice and open space and the rooms was clean and very nice

Very nice room in a cozy building among apple orchards. The room (king room) was spacious and well equipped with a big bathroom.
