Ataraxia - Ocean Edge Resort - 8 Berth Accommodation

I never like any. It was a bad holiday for me and my family. Never book this so called resort if you don’t want to experience what I had experienced.

I booked this resort/ accommodation for my whole family. Drove there and receptionist told me to contact the property owner as I should have the caravan number and key code. Tried to contact this person through message and call but cannot be contacted. Had the hard time to call booking.com as well. Really hoping for a refund. Never going to this so-called resort again.

Unable to get in to the property after confirmation and driving nearly 3 hours with 3 children.

No contact nor any help to text back to find location of caravan, ended up getting intouch with booking.com and cancelling because they didnt help

No communication, failed to communicate, I tuned at accommodation and didn’t have access to property

I didn't like the fact that I'd drove all that way, and couldn't even get into the property as the hosts didn't leave a key they didn't answer there phone or reply to any emails, they just took the money and left us stranded. Very disappointing

It was warm and clean.

It had 2 bedrooms and I’d booked and paid for a 3 bedroom.

The peace and tranquility of the location and closeness to the beach. Having three bedrooms was good. The towels were nice and soft. There was good communication and instructions. Good check in and check out times. The staff in reception were very friendly and helpful.

The sofa was stained and looked unhygienic therefore we could not relax sitting on it. There was a quarter full bottle of washing up liquid and a practically empty hand wash in the kitchen which was not very appealing. We only used a few of the utensils as they did not look very appealing, choosing rather to purchase disposable items from the local shop. The property was very compact with very small rooms and spaces. I have stayed in much bigger 6 and 8 berth caravans. For a party of our size we would have also expected a bigger toilet and even and ensuite. The property was also quite cold. For the price paid, I would have expected a better standard. All entertainment was closed off and the area looked a little bit like a bomb site, which I appreciate was outside of the owners control.

The caravan was very clean

Paid for a berth got changed to a. 6 berth, hargly any bulbs working in caravan. Terrible WiFi. Absolutely no facilities where in use. Nop entertainment no pools no nothing.
