Perrin Place Unit 1

Recently renovated, well equipped.

They say it's legally the ground floor, using a technicality from Boston regulations, but technicalities aside near half of the space is below ground level, giving the feeling of a basement. The beds are soft, for my taste. There's a dehumidifier (maybe because it's a basement which isn't legally a basement?) that turns on almost constantly and makes a lot of noise, which is annoying when you're in the living room. The thermostat is blocked, and you can't adjust the temperature to your liking. The apartment is spacious, but the photos (with a fisheye lens) give the impression that it's larger. Connecting to downtown Boston by public transportation (bus + subway) isn't easy; it takes near an hour for a 2.5-mile distance that takes 15 minutes by car, and an Uber costs between $17 and $30 (depending on the time and demand) one way.

The unit was very neat and quiet. It was beautifullu furnished and the equipments + accessories were beautiful. Could have used some heavier blanket. Otherwise, pleasant stay

Don't have much to report here. Master bathroom sink was a little slow to drain. Water softener in the bathwater is a little too strong, made us itch a little bit it seems my hair liked it

Had everything we could have needed and more. Would highly recommend

A great base for a trip to Boston

You really have to drive/ Uber for restaurants . but we knew this before booking and it wasn't an issue to us

I asked for the code before flying into Boston in case I had trouble with internet connection, and the host provided it very promptly. This eased my mind that we would be able to access the property on the day. The apartment was a bit chilly on arrival but we were able to adjust the thermostant. There were televisions in every room and the bathroom facilities were awesome.

Although the location of the property was good, it is a bit removed from good public transport connections. We found that taking the 23 or 28 bus from Warren Street all the way to Ruggles was the most economical way (the 23 and 28 bus lines are free to ride), and then the Orange line into downtown Boston. All in all, it will take almost an hour from the city centre back to the apartment.

It was relatively central, the neighborhood is ok. The flat is really comfortable and has a nice kitchen.

There was no big markets by a walk distance. There was a small problem with the dryer machine so we couldn´t use it.

Amazing place - clean, modern, comfortable. Will make it my usual place to stay at in Boston

Nothing really. There was a small confusion re where to find the keys to get in but the host was extremely responsive
