ON THE WAY - Mindelo Beach/Guest House

Absolutely loved this beautiful place! The owners are so incredibly helpful, generous, and they truly went beyond what we expected-- and we have stayed in some high-end B&Bs and retreat centers around the world. Treats, coffee, tea are gratis... wine right there to buy if you choose to. Hard pressed to find a place to stay that is better. The attention to details was exceptional. There is also a lovely yard and the location is just a few minutes off the Camino. They even created a wonderful vegan breakfast. Would rate this higher than a 10 if we could :-)

This is a beautiful home with comfortable rooms, a beautiful garden, and an amazing host located on the Camino in a lovely seaside town. Anna could not have been more gracious or hospitable. She gave us EXCELLENT suggestions for things to do and see in the next towns along the Camino. Breakfast was excellent as well. Anna thinks of every detail and takes great care in providing a stay you will never forget. We were 4 friends walking the Litoral Route and had 2 rooms. On The Way Guesthouse is perfect!

Die Unterkunft ist sehr gepflegt und sehr sauber. Mit liebe zum Detail eingerichtet. Wurden von den Gastgebern sehr herzlich empfangen, man fühlte sich sofort wohl. Frühstück super!

This is a beautifully renovated small Guest House very close to the Camino. Our room was very comfortable and it was lovely to sit in the garden and relax with tea and biscuits after our walk. Ana and her husband were both very friendly and breakfast was delicious and generous. Ana gave us a great recommendation for a local restaurant for dinner and for a lunch stop the day we left.

The house is beautiful with so many touches from Ana’s travels. Very comfortable bed and fantastic breakfast!!! Ana was a wonderful host and so warm. Even after I had left I needed help booking a stop on the Camino and she was more than happy to help me. I would highly recommend this oasis after a long days walk.
