ON THE WAY - Mindelo Beach/Guest House

Our stay here, even though it was just for one night, was absolutely perfect! We are currently on the pilgrimage to Santiago, so we couldn’t stay longer anywhere—but this is truly one of the best places we’ve experienced along the way. The accommodation is so cosy, comfortable, and thoughtfully put together, it immediately felt like a home away from home. Ana is simply the best host you could ask for—warm, welcoming, and incredibly attentive. She goes above and beyond to make sure everything is just right, and her kindness made our short stay extra special. The breakfast was super delicious—fresh, flavorful, and clearly made with care

This place was beyond our expectations. The owners have taken great care to hit every detail perfectly. I stay in hotels a lot for work. I wish my normal hotel stays were just close to the level of On the Way.

I didn't like that we only had one night to stay in this place.

Super süßes kleines Guesthouse, sehr süß eingerichtete und dekorierte Zimmer. Sehr ruhig (im März) - genau richtig um sich einfach mal auszuruhen. Das Meer ist direkt nebenan. Toller Weg um spazieren zu gehen. Frühstück ist toll, Ana gibt sich so viel Mühe. Tolle Früchte Teller, leckeres Croissant, Schinken und Käse Teller, und das portugiesische Nationalgebäck - so lecker.

Man kommt zur Haustür rein und spürt sofort die Liebe, mit der Ana dieses Haus zum glänzen gebracht hat. Das ist kein Gästehaus, das ist ein kurzweiliges Zuhause, das einen dazu enlädt wieder zu kommen. Danke Ana für diesen wunderschönen Ort und dass du uns so mitgenommen hast in dein Leben, indem du uns deine und die Geschichte dieses Hauses erzählt hast.

This was such an amazing stay. One of our absolute best nights on the camino. They were so welcoming, informative and kind. The room was beautiful and the breakfast was exceptional.
