On The Way was an absolutely perfect way to start our Camino! The host Ana is so thoughtful and amazing. She gave us great Camino tips that we never would have otherwise known and we are so grateful. The property was gorgeous and very stylish, the breakfast was on par with a five star hotel, and we could not be more thrilled with our experience.

Ana was such a gracious host with good recommendations. She did a marvelous job with all of the amenities. We loved the covered patio and her breakfast was more than enough food. She also offers snacks (yummy biscuits and cookies). We were able to use the fridge and freezer. We only have good things to say about her and the property.

Maybe because we’re Americans, we prefer a softer mattress. But we still were able to sleep soundly.

Sooo ein wunderbarer Platz!!!! Lage, Zimmer, Frühstück, Ruhe, Parkplatz,…. einfach alllllllles ist hervorragend. Die Betreuung der Hausherrin ist sehr hilfreich und liebevoll. Wir kommen wieder.

This property is an absolute gem. The house, located 50 m from the beach has been lovingly renovated by Ana and her husband. The host, Ana, has infused so much of her talent and grace in the design and the decoration of the property. Everything in this house has been thought of with great care and fantastic taste. The rooms are beautiful. The beds are super comfortable and the breakfast is fresh and plentiful. And Ana is a fantastic ambassador for the people of north of Portugal who are full of warmth and so hospitable. Would come back anytime.
