Food was very good , breakfast included but we stayed in both nights and was very good and reasonably priced. The house is wonderful and Bruce and Sheila and Tess bring it to life.

Very clean, comfortable bed. The breakfast was delicious, lots of things homemade. Sheila and Bruce were very helpful in finding places to visit. They recommend great places that only a local would know

My stay at The Great House was perfect. The house is a lovely listed property with easy parking. The innkeepers are present and make everyone feel comfortable and are at the ready to meet requests and provide suggestions. The Luttrell suite is blissfully dark at night and quiet with a very comfy four poster bed. Wi-fi was sufficient to stream lots of Glastonbury during my stay. Very dog friendly in a quiet neighbourhood. Bath and shower room was spotless clean with super hot water and great water pressure. Breakfast was made to order with the some of the best sausage I've ever had. Coffee served in French press.

There was nothing I did not like. There wasn't anything I would change. Be aware that you're staying in a listed property, so don't expect modern. Expect a period specific renovation and I enjoyed it immensely.

The Great House has a fascinating architectural history, which hosts Sheila and Bruce are both knowledgeable of and passionate about conserving. If you enjoy a period property, this one is a wonder and Sheila, Bruce and Tess the Terrier did everything to make us feel welcome.

There was nothing not to like.
