The Dog House, Mere

Lovely property and nice people. Thanks also to Ben for being such a laid back host to Freddie.

Molto vicino a Sthouread e ben attrezzata per i cani, ci sono cucciole e ciotole.

Non ha giardino, il camminamento esterno è un sentiero in ghiaia, carino ma sarebbe bello lasciare un piccolissimo pezzo in erba per quei cani abituati a fare pipì solo sulla terra. Inoltre non ha aria condizionata e al piano di sopra della mansarda in estate si muore

Excellent location for us to visit friends. Extremely dog friendly. Very well equipped and decorated to a high standard. We felt very much at home and so did our dog. The owners were very friendly. We would definitely stay again.

Very nicely appointed, very clean. Everything there you require. Plus point lovely pub within walking distance. Altogether a very comfortable stay.

A lovely, well equipped and decorated 'Dog House'. Very clean and tidy, ideal for our short stay to visit Stourhead. Nice private patio to enjoy our morning coffee, friendly hosts and very dog friendly.

One of my dogs kept trying to get down beside the building (this space would be better blocked off, in my opinion)

A beautiful little home that had everything one could ask for and everything so very clean and crisp. It is tucked away so there is no noise whatsoever. The cherry on the cake was a wonderful pub within walking distance, 8 minutes actually! Excellent food and service. I will most definitely spend another night or 3 at the Dog House! Wonderful Hosts as well!
